We believe clients benefit from having really clear reels.
Casting Directors, agents, directors and producers want to
see your work, fancy graphics and effects should never
upstage or waste the time of the viewer. The point of a
quality edit is to go unnoticed, to frame the artists work.
Your showreel should not be an archive; it should offer a
taster, an introduction. We work to no set formula, we start
afresh with every client and we are happy to discuss your
individual ideas and requirements at every stage of the
process.

| TO MONTAGE OR NOT TO MONTAGE...? |
|
When we talk to agents, casting directors
and directors they regularly
have different opinions on whether or not a showreel should
have a montage. In fact we have known people from the same office
to
disagree! Professionals in the USA & UK sometimes have different
opinions about the subject too. The fact remains though,
everyone who watches your reel wants to see you acting.
Just how we go about showcasing that we will discus with
you individually. If a montage is right for you,
it
needs to be energetic, totally focused on you and
offer an overview of your casting bracket in just a few
seconds.

Depending on your internet speed you may prefer to pause a
video and let it buffer first to ensure you achieve fluid playback.
